Cutler Bay: Coastal Charm
and Endless Possibilities
Welcome to Cutler Bay, situated in the southern reaches of Miami-Dade County. Established in 2006, Cutler Bay is one of the county’s newest municipalities and has rapidly evolved into one of its most dynamic areas. Through such dramatic growth, it was coined the 7th fastest-growing city in Miami-Dade in 2021. With predominantly residential neighborhoods, Cutler Bay is flourishing, fueled by a thriving population and a burgeoning business community.
Home to eight public schools and one charter school, education is paramount in Cutler Bay. Noteworthy is the Cutler Bay Youth Council Committee, a student-led initiative collaborating with the city council to address and advocate for the interests of the town’s youth. The area will soon welcome a new Legacy Park and Municipal Center along Old Cutler Road, as well as the state-of-the-art Southplace City Center—slated to replace the existing Southland Mall. These new projects promise to offer residents more space to engage with local government, enjoy recreational activities, and connect with neighbors.
As the largest landowner along Old Cutler Road, entrepreneurship is strong in Cutler Bay. With 2,430 registered businesses and a robust labor force of more than 21,000 individuals, opportunities are endless. Notably, 67% of workers are in white-collar professions, while 32% contribute to blue-collar sectors. The leading industries include Retail, Public Administration, Health Care and Social Services, and Accommodation and Food Services.
